Effective Incident Management: Strengthening Public Safety Through Partnerships is a hands-on programme designed to embed safety, accountability, and resilience into the night-time economy. Participants will develop the skills and confidence to respond effectively to incidents, from intoxication and spiking to violence and discrimination, while understanding their role within the wider safeguarding framework.
Rooted in real-world case studies and scenario-based learning, this training equips staff to carry out dynamic risk assessments, apply the Incident Management Cycle, and work in partnership with local services such as police, licensing authorities, PubWatch, and safeguarding networks.
The course moves beyond quick fixes — focusing instead on building a culture of proactive prevention, robust reporting, and continuous improvement. Participants will leave with practical tools including incident log templates, hot-spot mapping techniques, and clear referral pathways, enabling them to take immediate action in their venues.
